Default Differential Cover Leak

Earlier today I had jacked up my car and didnt notice that the jack was slightly on the differential cover. I am guessing it bent it a little and broke the seal because now i am leaking gear oil. It is coming out at about 1 drop every 10-20 min. I was wondering if i should buy a new gasket and some "make a gasket" to see if that works first or should i just go ahead and buy a new cover as well? Has anyone else had to fix a leaky differential?

You should just be able to re-make the gasket and be good to go. When you have the diff cover off and are scraping the old gasket material off, just hammer your cover back to being straight if it needs it.
