the badges have holes behind them.. so you have to fill the holes with like bondo sand it down and repaint it.

only the side ones and the ford badge has a hole behind it. the only one you can take off is the "GT" with out replacing it.

I took my GT rear badge off, its just stuck on there with sticky tape. I took a flat head screw driver and a peice of wood, placed the peice of wood on my trunk with a cloth between the wood and my car. Then I took the tip of the screw driver and placed it on the lip of the GT badge, then placed the block of wood in the middle of screw driver and pryed it off. Dont worry the tip of the screw driver doesnt contact the paint because the sticky tape is about 1/8" thick. I did the same thing with the Ford badge. There are two 1/4" holes that hold the Ford badge in but I used some window caulking and filled it and then when it dried used some touch up paint. Even though you can still kinda see where the holes where it looks alot cleaner and better than having the Ford badge on. Then I wanted to take the GT badges off on the fenders of my car. I took one off and there is a hole about a 1/2" big behind it. So I cant fill that, it needs to be welded up. So I left the GT badges on the sides then.
