Default shop installation question

Will a shop install an O/R mid-pipe or will they refuse since its illegal to run without the cats? Just wondering if most people just put theirs on or have a shop do it... I don't have the tools and everything that I would need to do that. I would rather have a good shop do it right for me and not worry about it if I can.

Nothing a couple of jackstands and hand tools can't handle. If you can't do that, I am sure 50 bucks will change his mind

It shouldn't be a problem. It would save you a little dough if you did it, it's not hard. Your choice.

The shops around here wont touch it unless it has the cats on it. They told me they can get in serious trouble if they take the cats off and the state found out about it.

I just installed a MAC o/r H pipe last week. It wasnt too hard, you just have to have about 2ft worth of extensions and some PB penetrating spray. If you decide to do it yourself and need any help send me an email and ill be glad to walk you through it.
