Im thinking about buying a set of gears and a short throw shift kit, can anybody who has these tell me what they paid for the parts n installation??

 

$150.00 for the short throw shifter and $300.00 for the gears and installation.

 

You can install a short-throw by yourself it's easy. i spent 180 i think for the mgw shifter (awesome shifter!)

 

Yeah, my MGW was $180. Very easy to install it yourself. Not hard at all. Before I decided to do it myself, I asked a local shop how much they would charge and they said $40.

 

there is no way he's getting the gears and installed for 300 bucks...

 

the shifter im getting is going to be about 180...I will install that myself....FRPP gears and install is costing me 475 + 379 for the sct xcal 2 tuner

 

mgw shifter...180...install...free. very easy and very doable...trust me...im pretty much stupid when it comes to cars.

gears/diablo tuner/bearing install kit...450...install with royal purple gear oil...325...775 total.
