Default 5th gear grinde.....HELP!

Well, when I shift into 5th every once in a while(1 out of 7-10 times going into 5th or so) it will grinde when i try to push it into gear, I have the t-45 tranny, is this a sign of my transmission starting to break down? And sometimes it is hard to get into 1st and 2nd at times.....Please help, i don't want my transmission to go on me, if there is a way to help stop this please let me know as well.

Thanks!

if 5th is grinding and 1st and second are being hard to go into.
try adjusting the clutch. some of the stock ones you can lift up on the clutch pedal and then push it to the floor.

normally with grinding it will be the synchro's but think this is more clutch adjustment I believe

Mmm..nope, Mine started grinding 5th about a year ago and got worse recently to the point where my RPMs better be below 2500 when I shift into 5th or it will grind. I can take it out of 4th, wait a second or two to drop them, then put it into 5th without problems. It got like that before I even had my new clutch put in last year.

Synchros. I have an 00 V6 same problem.

You can call the dealership to see if they have suggestions though...
