Don't get anything else but OE Motorcraft plugs. I would get a set of Motorcraft 9mm spark plug wires (they come in either blue, red, or black). I would just change your fuel filter. I do mine every 3rd oil change. It only costs $10 from Ford.

Besides that, umm... If you have some extra cash, get either Accel or MSD coil packs (I like MSD more). Since you were talking about which wires to get, I assume you have a NPI 4.6 Mustang. The Accel are cheaper, I think $150 for a set and the MSD you can find I think around $200 a set, but don't quote me. Other than that, if you really want to, there's cleaning the injectors (the real way, not the mechanic in a bottle crap) or replacing them, cleaning or replacing the throttle body and plenum with injector clean (your car will have a hard start the first time after you start it. Don't worry, that's normal). If you do that, your car will be running pretty damn good... Oh yeah, and you can get a $15 PCV valve, too.
