Bogging when cold?
I have a 2002 GT with 52,000 miles. When I first start it up and the engine is cold (relatively cold, its in the 80's most days in the morning), the car bogs at about 1600-1800 RPM. After driving it for a few minutes, the bog disappears. Is this normal? If not, what could be the problem? I have a K&N SRI, I have heard that if it is well oiled, it can make the MAF dirty, but I have not oiled it since I got it (it only has like 5,000 on the filter). Any ideas?
that happened to me too if i shifted before 2k it would bog a bit then get it back. once i put my lm2 on it doesnt do it anymore... so im guessing it has to do with the stock muffler and restrictive piping. you have any exhaust mods?
