Default Procharger + 4:10

Hello Guys!

I have a bolt on 2000 year model GT with the following:

BBK Longtubes, BBK Xpipe, Flowmasters catback, Ford Racing 4:10, Xcal2, Steeda CAI, Steeda Tri-AX, Steeda UD Pulleys and some other cosmetic mods.

I am realy looking into going supercharged! Does anyone have experience with a supercharger and 4:10?

As today when driving I have a bit trouble with traction, but I think that is a drivers thing =)

I have looked at KBs 1.7 Supercharger, but that is a twin screw and you will get quite alot of torque in the lower RPMs which can lead to verry bad traction with 4:10. So I think a Centrifugal supercharger as the procharger will do good.

What do you guys think?

I am also looking for some timeslips or videos of cars with a similar setup and a procharger, I would like to know what times and numbers I will be able to put down approx!

As today 0-60 mph I do race equally with WS6 trans ams, C5 corvette, BMW M5 400hp model and such but then 60mph+ I get really smoked so I am tired of this, I would like to blow theese bastards away =)

on another note...you can keep up with those cars from a dig with just those mods? maybe you already have that good driver mod lol.

Yes everything is possible, but I would like to get some real facts on theese questions!

Yes my only chance is from a dig, that is where the 4:10 comes in, but then afterwards I am smoked =)

Yeah you'll do fine with some sticky tires and decent suspension. I loved the whole "and I really wanna blow these bastards away" dunno why but I lol'd.

Sounds like you have the driver mod. As for the supercharger and 4.10's, there is a thread that has a video w/ a 2V GT going 130 w/ o/d off, and 160 w/ o/d on, and with 4.10's... I think that combo will be fine, I actually plan on trying that out eventually. Get some good 10.5" tires in the rear and good suspension to plant your rear wheels.

Theres a guy with a cobra and 4.10's.
I'm about to be supercharged and have 4.10's, i think as long as you have the right suspension then you should be fine.

i have a vortech and 410s and want to look into 373s, and i have drs.
