I need a new flywheel. Should i spring for the billet steel one or a factory one? This is my DD if that matters. Im replacing the clutch so i need to do something.

Go with the billet steel I'd say. Findanza makes one.

Might as well get a lighter flywheel while your at it. It will improve acceleration and is fine for DD's.

A lighter flywheel will cause you to decelerate faster after you let off the gas. It isn't that big of a deal but nonetheless you should know.

I'm pretty sure you have a 6 bolt crank, but mid '01 was when ford changed stuff on the mustangs, so who knows. I believe code's bucket is an '01, so he can probably answer this question.

I read that all GT's are 6 bolt and Cobras are 8, at least the later models 99-04. from other people on mustangforums.
