Very simple install.

Tools needed: 15mm socket (I think)
a couple of extentions
a swivel

passenger side a little hard to get at. Make sure you let it cool first.

The h-pipe should have come with a new gasket for the passenger side if not use the stock one if its still in good shape.

Is it ok to put the car up on jackstands when installing things like the mid pipe and exhaust?

Yeah, use a hydraulic lift to get it up of course and then place your jack stands. When you do your cat back, dont put your jacks on the rear axle...that's stupid, lol. But yeah, I put my catback and X pipe on like...3 days ago I think and All you need is a 15mm socket, swivel definately, some extensions help big time. Oxfordgt is exactly right, the passenger side is a bitch. Take your time and I would advise having a friend with you. I did it with my dad and I can't imagine trying to do it by yourself. It just makes things a LOT easier.

I did one a few weeks ago. Make sure you have about 2ft of extensions, and a 22mm open end wrench for the O2 sensors. Also, get a can of PB penetrating spray, get your car on stands and spray the PB on all the bolts about an hour before you start working on it. Spray it on 3 or 4 times in that hour. You can do this while you're waiting for it to cool.

I started installing it from the manifolds back. The passenger side will be hard to get the old pipe off and the new pipe on because the body will get in the way. I had to use a swivel and a deep socket 15mm. The deep socket will fit, but you will have to maneuver it around a while until it gets a grip on the bolt. The drivers side bolts are fairly easy. There is a gasket that goes on the passenger side, and a metal insert that goes in the driver side pipe. Dont forget those. Dont tighten any of the bolts up and keep everything loose until you have everything bolted up as you will need to be able to shift things around to get the pipes lined up. Having a friend there wil help a lot. I did mine by myself and it was a royal pain in the a** getting everything lined up. Once you are ready to tighten the bolts up, do it from the manifolds working your way back. Put the O2 sensors in last, If you bought MIL eliminators they will be a tight fit in the rear. Just get some zip ties and secure them so they wont rest on the pipes or get caught in the driveshaft.

This should take you about 2-3 max to do.

Another quick question. Does an O/R H or X bolt right up to a stock catback?

I did my mid pipe and cat back in 3.5 hours by myself. Of course, 45 minutes was spent cursing the catback, but that is a whole other issue. The mid pipe is easy except the passenger side. I highly recommend a 1/2 drive socket set and breaker bar. I used WD-40 on the manifold bolts and let them sit for 30 minutes. Came off without any issues.

Good luck

The best mod I ever bought: Air compressor and air tools. Cuts all work in half and dont have to worry about tough bolts.
