Default air conditioning

has anyone ever left their car idling for a while and came back only to find the ac doesnt work anymore. i know its a freaking stupid question but ive taken it to two places and both want to charge me like 100 bucks just to look at it....oh, and it doesnt need to be recharged or anything like that...i think im just boned.

i see tons of ppl that have problems with their ac, i think its the compressors, ford mady ****ty compressors. i have problems with my clutch on my compressor all the sudden kickin in and it makes an awful noise, mostly at higher rpm's sometimes not though
