Default Critique my plan please

Uhmm well im a newb when it comes to these things but I've been reading and I just dont wanna jack someones thread.. so here it goes

i was thinking 18x9/10 with 265/285 tires -> mach 1 brake kit -> bullit handling kit (need help here not sure if its good) -> sub frame connectors -> caster/camber plate -> lantech street terminator aode /tc-> kb 2.2 with cool air kit + intercooler -> vt longblock

this is gonna be on a dd and my only modes of transportation, but since i work at dollar rent - a - car as a rental agent i dont hafta worry about it going into the shop for these things, my goal is 400 rwhp with the ability to kick it up to 500-600 if i want more, i heard alot of good things about the kbsoif there is anything bad about them please comment.

Also not really sure where in the sequence i should install shorty headers/xpipe/catback, gears and whether or not i should install a new tlok at the same time? i've heard about welding the axle tubes, is that an alternative to the 31 spline moser mod?

This is gonna be a project so budget is really up in the air money is tight but i can always save (hate being a college student)

thank you for reading this newbie thread any help is greatly appreciated

-Wai Wai

-Only thing i do have is a sct x-cal2 from my old v6 that thanks to justin at vmp tuning they're gonna help me out with the gt tunes ^^ so one less expense...

Kenne Bell is great the best thing about it is that you get almost constant power. You can make 400 at the wheels without internals but its pushing it. also the rearend will need some modification as in axles and a diff to hold the power on big launches.

~600 for rims 600 for tires 400-500 brakes 400-500 bullitt kit 100-200 sbc's installed ~200 cc plates 2.2kb with intercooler and cool air ~5000-5500 vt longblock ~8000?
think thats accurate..
plus i'll be doing some cosmetic things here and there smoked tints for rear taillights and reflectors, smoked clear corner headlights with smoked foglights, thinkin maybe roush stage 2 body kit with side exhaust, paint job, upgrading the mach 460.. yaddi yaddi yaddi.. lols think imma spend more on mods than i will on my autoloan..

I'm just really uncertain on the power end of things.. the cosmetic things can wait till i get enough power to warrant the more aggressive look

Don't forget about all the supporting mods...exhaust, t-stat, fuel pump, injectors, gaskets, suspension, clutch, flywheel. I found this out a long time ago...take your expected budget and add 20%. That will give you a better idea of what you will actually have to spend. Just food for thought.

Sorry, I just read that you are an auto, so forget clutch, now it's stall converter, shift kit, etc.

yea just wondering if those steps are somewhat the route i should take? and what about the bullit kit? is that good or should i go with another suspension setup? cause i really dont wanna lower it too much, too many hills around here, and i want alot better handling than these stockers offer.
