Default bbk longtubes: chrome vs. ceramic

what is the main advantage of ceramic coated headers over the chrome ones. would i be fine spending 100 bucks less and just get the chrome ones or fork out the extra 100 to get the ceramic?

When I asked Tim at MPH, he thought they were worth the extra money. I live in the northeast (road salt, etc.), so he said it was the way to go. I got them last year and they still look like the day they were put on.

the ceramic also will not let as much heat out so it will help with underhood temps...oh and chrome will flake and rust and look like doo
