Default 2V Engine Upgrades

My search yielding choppy answers, so maybe someone can kill everything in one shot. I currently own an 02 supercharged roush. Before adding bbk long tubes, hi flow downpipe and a smaller s/c pulley, I was ~345hp at the rear wheels in August south Florida heat (94 degrees 80% humidity.) I have yet to dyno the car again after the mods, but I am thinking at least 25 more hp to the wheels yielding around 370 (roughly 435 crank hp @15% loss).

That being said, I'd like to fortify the engine to ensure the time bomb theory can be avoided. From my understanding, the bottom end is of most concern. Dont want to shoot any rods at this time. What other parts in the 2v engine require strengthening? Cost and timeframe to have these mods performed? I have no intention of swapping engines at this time, so going to a 4v is out of the question.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

you should be safe to a bit over 400, no need to rebuild, less you really want to kick it up. THen crank, pistons, rods (sean hyland motorsports has replacement forged rotating assembly packages), i am sure others do as well. install prices will vary, find a recommended shop in your area and ask, prices vary so much in parts of the country. Is the roush i/c'd? Also if you say where you are from, someone may know a good place in your general area.

Yes the vehicle is intercooled. I currently reside in central NJ and have heard of a few places to get work done. I would like to crank it up, so rebuilding is something to look into.

And may I respectfully add, run a safe tune when you're at those hp levels on the stock internals.

Sorry.
By "safe" tune, I mean you'll do just fine with 19 deg timing, 11.1 A/F ratio and around 9-11psi on 93 octane on the stock internals.

I will post some pics in 2 weeks when I return from vacation. With the amount of HP she has now, I would simply feel safer with forged internals. Then I would have an excuse to do some porting

If you know Al at Street Motor Sports in Cranford, he does very good work at reasonable prices. He runs a road track car...
