Why the hell is my damn car so slow, besides the fact its a Vert/auto, I can't hardly seem to get this thing to want to move! I dont even hardly turn the tires when I stomp on it, let alone it hardly wants to rev up when I floor it at 20 MPH or higher... what is the deal?

I have had this thing for a month

well, if u want ur tires to break loose turn off the trac control, and i notice that sometimes the trottle response isnt that great on my car, i think its cuz its an electronically controled throttle, idk

looks like you have some moddin to do! if you get a handheld tuner, it will firm up your shifts and increase your performance. Get an aftermarket 75mm throttlebody and plenum kit and your throttle response will get much better.

my throttle response is not always bad, its just sometimes when i step on it after letting off the clutch is seems to be delayed, idk it always seems to be a hit and miss thing. if i had the money i would deff buy a new throttle body and plenum

idk where to get the best deals, i always look at jegs and yearone, as far as brands idk either, everyone on here has a different opinion on that, i know fordracing has a throttle body i kinda like the idea of using ford parts myself

BBK and C&L are good brands for the TB and Plenum combos. They should cost around $250-$300 for both together. Just shop around and avoid RPM outlet I've heard bad things about them.

Some 4.10 gears will help get that auto/vert moving quicker! That along with a 3200 stall Torque Converter will make your car much quicker. A SCT handheld tuner will enable you to firm and adjust the shift points. Those mods will make your car feel like you gained 50HP...and then you can start with bolt on mods and maybe some cams.
