Default 05>03?

In your guys honest opinion, how much better is the 05+ mustang gt compared to my 2003 mustang gt? I am asking this because I am wondering if I should trade her in because Ford is doing the 0% financing thing.

300HP compared to 260HP. There's a good start. Technology continues to advance what can be extracted from the 281. Even the JLT intake makes a double the HP on the 3v than it does on the 2v. Your goal of 12's would be a lot easier with the new car. mark

Also keep this in mind... Price wise Terminator = S197 GT's... :O... haha...

But, the S197s are actually a lot better then your 2003 (no offense, I had a 04)... responds better to mods, interior much nicer, rides better, faster.. to bad it just needs a diet.

EDIT: Styling 03 = 05... and the reason i say that.. is because it's all matter of opinion! Which do you like more?

This is a good question.. I'm in a similiar situation.

Sometimes I hate how OLD my car feels as well as the little things that start going after 75k miles.

But then, it's a Mustang...a newer car with a classic muscle car feel to it. The 06 I test drove was smoother and much more refined... I'm sure I'd like it, but then there are some things I'd miss (most likely clutch feel.. I like the clutch in the 04s and older)

But then, I'd quickly get the Saleen supercharger on there (the 05+)

Thanks for all the input. So how much do you think I can get for a trade for my car. Its grey with tan leather interior. Mach 460 system, and loaded with everything else. I know my minor mods will not increase its trade-in value, but I was hoping to get 16k out of it and break even. Am I on a pipe dream or is this realistic?
