Default new clutch

I think its about time for a new clutch, and im not really wanting to put another stock clutch in there but i also dont want a clutch that is too extreme either. I just want one thats better than stock but still good for a daily driver. So thats what brings me here, i really dont know much about clutch brands and whats the best and all that. So i was just wondering what would be the best route to take is, links would be helpful to. Thanx

I just went to a shop to see how much it will cost to get the clutch installed, and they said well we cant install a part unless we oder it and we definitely wont do performance work. Thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard, installin the spec stage one wont be ne different from the stock clutch, and it will be a better part. So now i have to find a garage that will do "performance work".

they want you to get the parts through them so they can make more money on the mark up....If they were smart the would do the proformace work b/c the install is no different from a stock clutch, and you would be giving them the $$ instead of Joe Smith down the block who will do the work

Yeah find a different shop. All the shops that I've called told me around $300-$330 for installing the clutch if I provide the parts. But of course that is separate from the flywheel resurface which is another $45 [:@]
