Your right.. laziness. Seriousely now, would I have bought a manual if I was to lazy to move a stick 2 inches? I chose 3rd gear to be "lazy" with. I like the rest of em. 3rd is just too hard.

Asking for advice not insults. Read my posts, not a one says anything about "I hate the 3650 yadda yadda..."

Other people run into the same problem so I guess its not the machinery its gotta be the "Lazy mustang GT tremec haters group"?

Just to add onto my post, I just cant see how lazy is attributed with this topic. I didnt give up on 3rd I tried 3 times and it finaly went. Think your using the wrong word. Lazy is not wanting to take the trash out because you wanna sit and have a beer. Not complaining about 3rd gear on a car because its just so exhausting and strenuous to use...

I've only missed a 3rd gear powershift once. No biggie, it happens. I've got a 3650 and its a great tranny, held up to 50k of major abuse so far.

I bought my '02 with 2,700 miles on it. I think that I missed 3rd on Friday. I won't do that again. It's a real bad feeling. They are a bit picky.

How do I find out which tranny my '02 GT has in it?
