Default problem

i have a problem with the battery or alternator in my 02 mustang. The battery has no charge. I took the battery in and they charged it and said it was fine put it back in the car and it worked fine i disconnect the + cable to see if it was the alt but the engine ran fine without the battery. I drove for a day and then the battery was totally dead again. anyone know what the problem could be?

if your car stayed running while the battery was disconnected then your alt is fine. Looks like it may be time to get a new battery.
