Default Which Exhaust??

Hello everyone, new to mustangforums, but so far I have learned a lot from reading. Great tool for mustang enthusiast. Well, I have a 2000 GT that I have modified with a 3.73 gear, pro 5.0 shifter, and DiabloSport tuner. My next step is exhaust and from what I have read and listened to on mustangexhaust.com, I am going toward the MAC O/R prochamber and Flowmaster American Thunder cat backs. I want a mean sound but not too annoying to passer by's. Anyone have any other suggestions or should I stick with that plan? Thanks to all who reply!

thatd be a great sounding setup. a sound similar to that would be bassani. very deep but doesnt drone like the flows tend to. they can be pricey though thats the only thing. but prochamber and flows would sound awesome.

flows and o/r h would sound great but something you want to keep in mind is that flowmasters will rust over time, a stainless steal catback would last as long as the car does.

Bassani huh? I'll have to listen to them, but I know about the drone that Flowmaster produces and I really don't like it. Are the Bassani stainless? I don't plan on driving the car in the winter so salt won't be a problem.

I have a setup queston...what set up would be best for a realll really hallow sound at lower rpm's kind of like flowmasters have but even more hallow and throaty....then when you put your foot into it you get a real deep sound..? Anyone have any ideas? im going for a all out coustom exhaust, nothing preassebled like a flowmasters kit.

d3mon, that sounds tough as hell. I think it's a little loud for a daily driver though. Thanks for the clip!

stickshifty, that sounds pretty good, do you ever get annoyed at it being too loud?? I am considering MAC cat back now, it would be sweet to have the complete system, excluding headers.
