i may be wrong but the spare tire probably doesn't weigh enough to make a difference either way

go find a 1970 dodge daytona, cut the wing off and then put it on ur car lol. no, but what kind of traction are you looking for, like traction on the track or traction in the rain or snow, cuz if u want traction in the rain or snow u cna just add weight back there

Hmmm....i think he said he is going to the track. I would take it out. less weight and the launch is more of a feel thing.

Drop the tire pressure like said above... i'd take out ANY extra weight... won't make much of a differance but it can still make a differance... dont go through th water box, and spin the tires just once-twice to shake the crap off of them and dont do a burnout... and last but not least - have fun!!!!!

thank you so much for saying that xxkazp3rxx i hate going to the track and watching people do burn outs on street tires. all it is dowing is hurting your launch. street tires don't need to be heated up

Aside from how you aply power, traction will be affected most by type of tires
and how the weight shifts during lauch.

If I saw your sig. correctly, you're using 18in wheels... That's tough, since you've probably got a pretty rigid sidewall on your tires..

What tires do you have??
