h-pipe instalation

I just got my mac o/r h pipe today. I have to go to work in an hour though so i am going to start installing it when i get home. Are they are tips or anything with installing one of these. I somewhat know what i am doing as i have installed numerous catbacks on cars. I was looking underneath my car and where the stock pipes go up toward the engine i was wondering how you disconnect that. thanks for the help

yea there is, its easier with a lift....make sure u have sockets, extensions, and universal joints, for the odd places. and air gun helps a lot too, from there just take ur time, and go peace at a time. its pretty basic.

its all pretty easy except for the passenger side where whe midpipe meets the manifold. you need a rotating socket to get it also i did this on my buddies lift. it will be harder while your laying on the ground

yea the passenger side is pretty hard, but the drivers side isnt a cake walk either.....like i said just take ur time, and be careful with all ur sensors

Correct. If you have a convertible like me. I could get a breaker bar and socket on it but i would try to turn the breader bar and run into sub frame connectors. I ended up taking it to a shop and having them do it. I watched what they did and what they used. Get one of the REALLY LONG extensions from Auto Zone like a 2 ft one. And a 15mm wobbly deep well or a universal joint + 15mm deep well.

It kinda sucks without a lift. Some of the bolts are just so darn stubborn.
