Default headers

i have an 01 GT 5 spd, i have a bassani x-pipe and a SLP lousmouth I catback....i want to putt headers on it. But idk if they will fit. Am i limited to shorty, mid, or long. and if so which are some good ones to get. Will i ahve to do any cutting?

No cutting. You can buy any of the three for a 5 speed. Longtubes are the only way to go, though, IMO.

probably not. Most midpipes are a one piece design so they won't work with longtubes. However some are a 3 piece design (slp). One rule to go buy is that you should match brands on your long tubes and your midpipe. You will have a much easier time during installation.

To fit what hes already got he'd need either shories or mid length righ. If he wants long tubes he'd need a new shortie X or H pipe to fit them.

SLP make some great long tube headers but they are alittle pricey

long tubes are the only ones that will add enough hp to be worth the money. However you would have to get a new mid pipe.
