This is a dumb question but i hear people talking about plenum with larger throttle botties, My question is what exactly is a Plenum and how does it work with a larger TB.

Well I'm not very technical or mechanical, but a larger throttle body with a larger plenum allows for more air to flow in. and more air = more power.

your intake is comprised of the following

Intake Filter (air Filter)
Mass Airflow Sensor
tubing
which leads into your throttle body which is bolted to the intake plenum which attaches to the intake manifold... etc.

A larger plenum / throttle body will allow for less restriction into the intake plenum which makes more power.

Will add like 3 hp...I'd hold off.

With a blower they add something like 18 though.
