Default gotta problem

ok so here it is, i wasnt happy with my exhaust (the one that its in my sig. so i decided to change it from catted x to o/r h. so i did. heres the problem, i got everything on farely easy, except the fact that i have a few leaks. it only leaks at the headers, i called my local shop and the head mechanic told me to loosen everything and retighten everything because of the possibilty of the flanges being bolted on crooked. so today i did this, and it got a little better but still no cigar, i have to admit though the sound is amazing even with the leaks compared to the x pipe, but back on topic, so what should i do, could it possibly be the gasket on the passenger side. i really need some help, this isnt my first time but it is the first time this has ever happened to me.

Loosen it again, check the gasket, maybe replace it and then tighten it back up. Thats really all you can do man. Just make sure everythings seated right.

Mine had some kind of slip in gasket on the drivers side pipe where it bolted to the manifold. You might going to the store and getting another gasket for the passengers side, im not sure about the gasket with your pipe, but the onw that came with mine wasnt very good. Make sure you are getting the bolts tight enough, those passenger side bolts were a pain for me. I thought i had them tight and they really wern't.

Also when you tighten, start from the headers and work your way back. I didnt do this on mine and it leaked til i did tighten it this way.

you know now that u mention i didnt do that, i got all the bolts on and then went back and tightened it up. but either way its headin to the mustang shop, tomorrow, but kinda off subject, for those of u contemplatin h pipe or x pipe, or even off road or cats, ive had both, and the sound just doesnt compare to an off road h. the sound is AMAZING. best 130 bucks ive spent so far.
