Default Keyless entry

My wifes 01 GT vert didn't come with remotes for the keyless entry. Can I use one of my spares and reprogram it to work for hers. If so how do you do it. I watched the dealer program mine when I bought my car but it was along time ago.

Dude go on Ebay and you can buy the for like 20 or 25 bucks, somtimes they sell them in pairs for around $30, they come with instructions on how to do it. Different years have a lil diff way of doing it as far. Its really easy I think for my year it was turn the ignition on and off 7 or 8 times and then just hit the botton on the remote and it automatically does it, but Like I said Im not positive on your year.
