well the throw-out bearing just went out of the stang and now she is going into the local ford to get NEW clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing and pilot bearing, 2marrow[:@] ohh well atleast its still under warranty

 

How many miles did you have? Highway or city miles? I'm not havin any trouble with any of my stuff like that, but i'm worried bout when i will have trouble. Most of my miles are highway miles from my dad drivin 30 minutes to work everyday, about 98,000 of them, so not alot of shiftin..till now, cause i chirp the tires all day now!!

 

what clutch are you putting in it

 

they said that i could have them put in a ford racing one in but they will have to special order it, as for the car it just turned over 70k and from what i know it was highway miles b4 i got it. but i have been a in town driver with it sense i got it

i have already had my 3rd gear replaced, and now 2nd gear is starting to take a dump on me. Only....i dont have my warranty anymore...

you have a 2000 and it still is under warranty?? do you have the extended warranty??

 

i think that mine is the T-45 trans.

just curious what happens when it goes out completely?? i just thought it makes more and more noise, but what does it control?

 

depending on how it goes out, more than likely = No Clutch

 

well the clutch will stick and not fully realese and it will make a lot more noise and then eventally no clutch[:@]


I also just found out that my extended warranty dosent cover the clutch, thorw-out bearing, pressure plate, or the pilot bearing[:@][&o][:@] sooo now im just gonna do all the work my self (so not to be raped by ford in shop fees) and now i wanna get a better clutch and need to know where the best place and price, i can get for a clutch kit[:@]

 

How is your car still under warranty with nitrous?? hahaha.
