Back to the original post...I'm sorry you bought the chip.

They are pure garbage. Not worth $25 bucks even. Canned tunes are garbage, performance chips are just more expensive ways to waste your money.

Please get a dyno tune if you are looking for any HP improvements.

Well, that sucks. It wasn't the tune in a can though, the owner of the shop was customizing one that would best benefit my car. I just took it to them about an hour ago, they are going to see what they can do for me.

As for the reason I got it though, I know you need to recalibrate the speedo when you get gears, so that's just one thing that I won't have to worry about later.

So i'm guessing that buying it was pointless and I should have spent the money on other things?

Hey my diablo wont let me ajust the axle ratio anyone know whats up with it?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the speedo can only be corrected with one of those little tiny gears rather than a tuner in cars 98 & older.
ummm, no its 98 and older that you have to use a programmer or speedcal

and tuners arent garbage, first... it allows you to advance timing....steeda timing adjuster can also do that for 150 bucks

you can change your gear ratios when you swap....but a speedcal can do that.... for about75 to 100 bucks

and you can turn off your O2 sensors... but MIL eliminators can do that too... for 75 bucks.... and they usually go bad

savings from a tuner= about 325 bucks, which is more than i paid for my predator

I also never said tuners are garbage. I said the canned tunes from tuners are garbage.

Dan04Cobra is correct...94-98 Mustangs need a speedo gear to adjust the speedometer, that is why your predator won't allow you to change the gear ratio.
