Default Need some advice

I have been going back and forth for a while trying to decide what direction I want to go in with my 04 GT. I have been contemplating getting a foxbody project for the mere fact that I am still making payments on my 04 and I sort of have a glass ceiling as far as modding goes since I want to keep it streetable. The only thing that keeps me from getting a fox body is that I have already done alot of work to the 04 such as a Vortech S-trim, full suspension, gears, exhaust etc. This posts main purpose is to get some opinions from you guys after you see the pros and cons.

Pros to continuing to mod the 04GT
-I have owned it since new so I know its been taken care of
-already makes decent power with mods on it 350rwhp 350tq
-newer technology
-already put alot of money into it dont want to have wasted my time and money

Cons to continuing to mod the 04GT
-Can only go so far with the mods since i need it to remain streetable
-hesitant to get super crazy with the mods since I will be making payments on it for the next 5 yrs and dont want to make them on a broken car
-Parts are more expensive for the 4.6
-a little more complicated to work on

Pros to Getting a foxbody
-cheaper parts
-no worries about it breaking since its not my DD and I owe no money on it
-can get more serious into drag racing with this platform
-easy to work on

Cons to getting a foxbody
-old car rust, been beaten on etc.
-will be starting from scratch
-older technology

As you can see I have thought long and hard about it, but I am still at a crossroads, so if I could get some opinions it would help me out. Thanks.

Since you already have a nice, quick car, I would just continue making payments on it; maybe take the money you would have put into a Fox and put it towards principle to pay it off faster. I've passed on many project cars because I know it would detract from my ability to pay for the car I already have. Granted, I also have a Civic, (at least till my brother gets his license), but I still wouldn't want another project, not while I still owe on my car. That's why I've done so few mods so far.

But, in the either/or situation, I would get a Fox.
