control arms?????

Default control arms?????

why do some control arms say there for 79-98 and some say 79-04 and the look exactly the same???? wha is the difference if some sets will fit all the way up to 2004 why wont the others??????? what makes them not fit 99-04??

Ford increased the rear suspension travel of the 99-04 Mustangs, which would mean a change to the arms.

ok but i still dont undertsand then why would one control arm kit work and the other not??? if you can out the longer control arm on a 79-98 and increase the travel why cant you put on control arms for a 79-98 on a 99-04 and decrease the travel?? i dunno just asking cuz my buddy is wanting to trade me a brand new set for a 79-98 for a throttle body i have sitting around and will never use again

Just rack in up to some bad marketing. The might have control arms for all years and may ask you to specify after purchase. But their is no magical control arm that fits all years.
