You have 972 posts and you havent read about this yet? Geez. I don't have LT's, but apparantly you need to pull the motor or take out the K member to install them. Dont really know too much, but everything I've read on here seems to suggest to pay a shop a couple hundred to put em on.

The Long Tube install is complicated but can be done with time and patience and a good lift! Ive heard Shops charge anywhere from $350-600 for installs! Good luck and make sure when you get them done get it done right

It sucks... i did it myself. I have a writeup on how bad it sucked on here somewhere. Search my posts in january'ish.

Anyone that tell you to do it just by unbolting the motor and jacking one side up needs their head examined. I had the damn kmember completely out and still had a little trouble tightening a 2 bolts on each side.

I unbolted both of the motor mounts and picked the engine up slightly. It was a bitch, but it wasn't that hard/long of a job. A few of the bolts are total murder to get to, but you just need to take your time and use the right tools.

I dunno, but the K member seemed like alot to take apart just for this? I can see how it would make acess easyer, but still.

BTW stanger88, I think MCP in st. louis will do a LT install pretty cheap. They only charge labor by the hour (usually) so they will quote you a time price, and they are usually fast.

Probably not but close... hell have you taken a look at your engine bay? Putting anything in from up top makes my want to cry. IF you do it... get LT's and a tune, or just save for a s/c.
