Default Useless ashtray replacement

Okay, I have absolutely no need for the ashtray and cigarette lighter in my car, so I was wondering if anyone has seen kits to do anything with them, or even just any good ideas for it. I know a lot of people put their nitro buttons down there, or their tuner switches, but I don't have any of that so I was thinking more along the lines of getting my dremel and cutting it open to a big square hole and finding ... nevermind, I just realized what I'll do. I'll find a plastic sleeve that fits my iPod and stick my iPod connection for my head unit down there. Woo! Now to planning!

Anyone have any other ideas for it?

Hmm... now that would be nice. Have a link to any on eBay so I know what to look for?

Edit: I see something similar to what you're saying, but it's for an automatic. If that's what you have and the one you were talking about then that wont work for me becuase I have to be able to put my arm where those cup holders are to shift.

Yep, that's the one, it's got the little door that closes over the ashtray but since there are so few places to put things in that car, it'd be nice to make it usable space. I really like the idea of trying to find a plastic piece that is the height of my iPod that I can drop in and mount the iPod connector at the bottom, then I could just drop my iPod in and push it into the connector and even be able to close the door after it, that way I'd have the tray under the radio free.

i've seen a vteched 02 replace the coin holder in his automatic with a boost gauge. He rounded it out a bit and installed it so you can't see them outside the car...nice sleeper move...
