I have slp catback but took out the mufflers and put in the catback, i like it more so than with the mufflers on it. (i had the II's and it wasn't loud enough for me.) It's pretty dam loud now, but not inside the car so much, it sounds pretty pissed off with the stock H on it, i dunno if it would change the sound very much with an H put on or not. But, i like mine more, except it will rasp up at certain rpm ranges....i think it still sounds nice tho. cuz when ur crusing it is still pretty deep/loud.....(sorry for long post.)

Wouldn't you lose power if you take out all airflow resistance? no pressure pushing it out of the car....i dunno but it'll still be LOUD.

^ i would think the same thing, but you have less restrictsions with no cats and no mufflers so i would think you actually gain hp because it can flow better.

I dunno i was thinking about doing what he is gonna do, but was told that i would lose to much backpressure, and if i put on straight pipes over the cats of my H pipe i'd have the CEL go on, and i don't wanna spend 60 bucks on a mil and don't have the cash for a tuner lol, still thinking about it tho. As long as it sounds badass, i guess it doesn't really matter.......but it does haha. sigh...

i have an o/r pipe and my CEL is on, but it runs fine. i can almost tell a diff. in power too. leave your cats on and get straights the rest of the way, it will still be loud
