Default Need Help

Hey whats going on guys. I'm so close to the end of my v6 to V8 motor swap i can feel it. Today was that last day i connected everything i needed to get the motor running. But when i went to turn the Key the motor just turned over. Did that a couple of times and tested to see if the motor was getting spark and fuel. It was getting neither. I'm kinda lost as of what to do next. I transferred everthing from the dorner car, including the key and steering colum but now it wont start in my car. Someone please help me

posibly starter problem maybe wiring is no good if u got starter off the doner car

check wires then question parts IMO

Oh and another thing i forgot to mention. When i go to turn the car on the theft light starts flashing rapidly.

Also the cluster shows the miles as ------------------. Could it be that the PCM is not getting any power.

What all did you replace? Did you replace the ECU? Did you replace the instrument cluster too?

I replaced the ECU, Cluster and Steering colum with key that came from the dorner car.

the encoded key might need to be reset?? Kinda a guess, but when I was at the shop my tuner was resetting a key, and it did the same thing.. maybe in the transplant something happened and the computer reset?

HAVING SAME PROBLEM DID SWAP I GET SPARK AND FUEL JUST THE THEFT LIGHT IS GOING MAD! I'VE BEEN TOLD A REFLASH MIGHT WORK BUT THE DEALER IS BEING AN ******* AND SAID IT WONT AND NOW THEY WONT EVEN TRY AND HELP ME ITS LIKE THEY WANT TO WIPE THEIR HANDS CLEAN OF ALL OF IT CAN ANYONE HELP ME TOO? First, STOP YELLING. We can hear just fine.

No, programmers are linked to their car. I've heard of this problem before and I think it's the anti theft system kicking in. I don't know if a programmer will fix it. I would think a dealer could fix this quite easily. You'll have to pay, but it should be a simple reset of the theft system. Good luck.
