hrmmm this is a tough choice... im assuming your talking about the 03/04 cobras vs your 00 SS. there both sweet cars, they both are fast and have lots of potential. i would say it comes down to whichever one you like the looks/interior more would be the deciding factor. but if you already have your SS payed off i would just keep that.

if you have a LS1 and it's paid off i might also keep it unless you just really wanna get rid of it. I can tell you that i love my 03' Cobra... and I would reccommend it to anyone that wants to go fast. lol

For what it is worth.................................

I have to admit, I was in the market recently for a high performance "coupe".

I test drove 3 LS1 Camaros. Yes they are fast, no doubt. Fast after 3rd gear. I found the SS cars lacking in torque, IE, "seat of the pants" feel from the line.

I test drove 1 04' Cobra. I don't care what the numbers show. Hell, I'm to damn old to be racing on the streets, (which is a no no at any age), but the Cobra "feels" so much faster than the Chevy. From 2 grand on, the Cobra just plants your butt and back against the seats. I didn't get that feeling in the SS.

Long story short, I bought the Cobra.
