I'm pretty sure you took Matts first post the wrong way. It a well known fact that those plugs don't go well with these engines and he was just telling you that in a smartass way. So if your happy with them your one of the few.

I should have been the 2nd poster, lol. I was going to say, splitfires are horibble and way overrated. Better choice with the Bosch's, but I stay away from platinums all together. I'm running NGK TR6's and they're great. (especially for F/I apps)

I have the ones that have the V on the center electrode What are those, Split fires ?
Hey 97!!!! did you do all that stuff to your car in one shot or did you drive it after each thing to see what was helping driveability ?
I would think that the injector cleaner and the plugs did the most good.
How many miles were on the plugs and wires ?
Were the injectors EVER cleaned ?
Thanks

i'm guessing that the wires were the original ones so over 100,000 on em the plugs looked pretty bad so i think they had like 60-70,000 miles but those are just guesses because i only got the car about a year ago.
i'm not sure what you mean with the injectors being cleaned but i haven't taken them out to clean them myself just used the fuel injector cleaner in a bottle stuff.
BTW you plugs are the split fires kind.

Sure it runs fine now. Give it some time. I cant help you're an idiot. And yes we suck so bad that we are ranked number 2. Granted this will change after this week, but we are still number 2. Unless you are an Ohio State fan, you can shut the **** up. Thanks and enjoy your bosch plugs.
