ok so what do yall think about hid conversion kits??????? I saw one at a car show and was amazed.. they really do help vision and give it that costum look.

they are 234$ on ebay for a 8000k bulbs. and it looks really nice.

i would have to agree the projector lens looks a lil too ricey to me.

I have them and I will never go back to normal bulbs.

Heres the deal with the projectors and other headlights with anti-glare setups; The normal headlight is not designed for HID's and while it may look kick *** the amount of light they flare up is pretty bad. You want a nice cutoff line with HID's, which a projector lens will give you. Imagine driving with your highbeams, thats about how high the HID will flare up on a stock reflector.

That being said there are a few things you can do to reduce glare, one of them being a bulb shroud. This is what I have used in the past and they work as a good, cheap solution.

I do agree that some of the projectors out there look ricey, but there are some good looking sets as well, you just gotta look hard to find them.

Also 8000k isnt where you want to be, you start to lose usable light after 6000k or something. 4300k philips is what a lot of production vehicles use. I went with 6000k for function and looks.
