most of us did mention "non-pi"

But ya the 96-98 gt stock is the redheaded step child. [&:][&:]

PI swap's the only thing standing between us and the new edge's. Either that or a bottle of nitrous.

sn95's kick butt and there not that slow at all like 40hp yeah thats a good chunk but not like a v6 to a v8 and like a v8 to a cobra v8 I just heavly modded mine to show them what I can do. on of the reasons why I like the sn95 forum I am in

The way I see it I like my car now....(kinda) she's still pretty slow by my standards but it took a lot of money to get it to where it is now. The crappy part is it just now is starting to compete with other stock cars. I'm not really all that interested in blowing the doors off some 4 door stock civic with a fart can. Doesn't really turn my crank. I rather beat something worth beating. For me to really compete with the cars I want to I still have a lot more money to spend. Which is why people bash on the 96-98gt. The really are one of the worst platforms to start with because you have to spend so much just to get them in contension.

Guys, my first two mustangs had less horsepower COMBINED than a SN95 4.6 and I never complained about it. I'm talking 198 fly wheel hp (88hp on '79 notch and 110hp on '85 hatch) between two cars. Most here drive what they can afford. There is nothing wrong with that and with a PI swap, your cars have all the potential of a new edge.

Don't feel bad, build it bad!
