i'm thinking about getting a 2001 SVT Cobra white with black leather interior, it has 41000 miles price is $14,100 What do you guys think about that?? How is the non s/c Cobra and is it worth it to get it??

 

Thats a good price....they were a tad faster than the GT's of that year. Not the best Cobras but it is a Cobra.

 

What is "A tad" exactly? 01 Cobra was dohc 4v right? rated at...??....300?

 

i got no clue what this dude means by a tad... 260 and 320.. thats a big difference especially in the mustang world.

I think it was the 99 that had issues and they fixed it in 01

 

imo keep your current car, with some bolt on's it's right there with the n/a cobra's.

hold out for a 03/04

 

4 valves respond very good to mods. but remember theres only so much power the IRS can handle.

Major problems in 01... i cant recall any... might wanna check the TSB's at the top of the page
