Default Window squeek

When I roll up/sometimes down my driver's window it squeeks when the window gets near the top. It is annoying as hell. Does something need greased/oiled or something?

I've got a blown speaker in that door so I plan on taking the panel off in the next few days, if I can take care of the window while I'm at it I'd like to.

Interesting...what kind of silicone? Can you get it in pure liquid form? What is liquid silicone used for, so that I know where to find it?

i have no idea, my friend was getting his seat belt fixed, and he told the guy about the sqeak, and the guy mixed silicon and windex, his window hasnt sqeaked since. the only advice i can tell you to do is just call your local auto shops and ask, or someone else on the forum may no.

I put some Vaseline on the rubber that is at the front of the window where it touches the glass when it goes up and down to fix the problem. Vaseline, it is not just for............never mind.

Doesn't that grease up the window?
