i want to be able to mess with things like fuel...ie..makin it run richer or leaner...spark adjustment...and things that would free up a few horses. can i not do that with the hypertech? and...wait....what do you mean it doesnt exist?

 

Hypertech offers a canned tune. They don't make a programmer for the 99-04 Mustangs. They have one for 03/04, and others for earlier years. They cannot be interchanged. I have the 03/04 programmer and only use it as a code scanner. I did use the canned tune, but it incited pinging with the best fuel around here, and hurt mileage/power overall. The Hypertech technician I talked to said to use 93 octane fuel...I told him to point me to a station at 5280 feet that sells 93 octane.

You know what? You ******s keep pissin me off. Mind your own business and post if your interested. The hypertech works fine! My friend had his 02 GT hooked up to this thing and noticed big gains. Your not going to find a programmer for a better price and on top of that it will make a difference! I promise! and yes you can mess with almost everything! this *** with his lil jeep as a sig is a retard!
