Im new here and I recently bought a K&N Fipk air intake for my 02 Gt. The first day it worked fine and then from there on after it began to bog and make my car jump in every gear. I would give the car some gas and right around 2000-2500rpms it would jump and move the car back and forth. I cant keep driving it like this because its driving me nuts. Has anyone every had this problem or know anyway to fix this. Please help

what do you mean by jump and is it a 5sp or auto?

its a 5spd and it like jerks back and forth when i accelerate and it has never done it before the K&n Intake

Make sure you installed it correctly, meaning, no air leaks.

pull neg cable off to reset the computer

what yr stang?

make sure all connections r tight and plugged in

engine light on?

its and 2002 gt and the engine light is not on i dont know whats wrong with this thing

reset that computer and some driving and that MAY fix the issue

recheck all your wok andmake sure everything is tight. And reset the computer.
