I know that alot of people who don't like the shaker that much on the 03-04 Machs think it's because the hood is too tall with that extra level too it.

Does it look better on a 99-04 GT hood, or on the 03-04 Mach hood.

I'd like to see some (dial up friendly) pictures of both.

I love the shaker on my mach! Its perfect, and im going to raise it even more.

 

Personally.... I like the way the Mach 1 hood looks with the extra level. Just gives it the aggressive mean look with the shaker on top of it. Are you planning on getting a shaker and a hood to go with it? There are kits available to do that, but imo, they don't look as good as the real thing.

 

No, I am not planning on anythign like that. The first visual mod I need to do is the front spoiler and some wheels. But I don't have any money.

I was just wondering how they look on the 99-04 GT hood.

 

Any1 have the site with the shaker and the kit..to convert your stock gt hood?

I don't, I happen to like it,,

but I have heard some people, maybe even a few on here, say that they dont like the 'extra little hump' that the Shaker rests on

with the Mach hoods..

i think they are sweet

(Which gets me thinking,, what would our 99,01 hoods look like if the fake scoop was smoothed over, and teh hood appeared like a small cowl.. (at stock height)

 

I'm sure if we measured the shaker is higher, but honestly, I notice the hood on my gt more than the mach. I have seen, however, people who have "lifted" the shaker higher than its stock height and that could bug me....


still searching for som pics like you describe, but here is a pick of the mach and gt side by side. Even though the mach is lowered, notice on the mach how you can see the full wiper blade while on the gt part of it is hidden by the "scoop". Could be an angle thing but to me, gt hood far more noticable.....

i like the shaker myself, 2green dude where do you live that a nice house in the background you dont see stuff like that around here.

 

Ive never heard anyone say they didnt like it. Personally I think it looks badass. Never seen one on a GT though
