Default Shift Light

What do you guys think about installing a shift light on my car and using the stock tach. How accurate is the stock tach and would its accuracy (or lack thereof) effect the shift light? Im just looking for a little project to work on over the weekend and thought of this.

aftermarket tachs are gay if you already have a tach. just get a MSD shift light and put it on the dash toward the a-pillar.

durta dur my car comes with a tach and i want to put a bigger one on durta dur.

ps we make fun of people that do that to there 1996-2004 mustangs what you think the fast and furious is real. lol

when I was looking for my mustang I saw one where the light was installed into the center a/c vent on the drivers side. I really bright LED that caught your eye even during the day...I thought that was pretty slick as I am not really into the a/m huge tach/roll of quarters light

I've heard the stock tach isnt the most accurate, so whats wrong with putting a more accurate monstrocity in your car?

i remember seeing something about someone putting the light in an a/c vent a while back. I just found this, it's in a camaro, but its a cool ideal.

I've never heard of that before. That's pretty sweet! Not a bad idea......
