sorry guys i work at christ hospital (trauma center) OF CHICAGO and wanted to post my question and was interupted the whole time i was trying to type the question. anyhow i have my mustang the 2002 red mustang gt convertable in the picture and i have exen tires i dont know anything about tires and performance tires and all that crap they are 245 45 17 i think are they anygood for winter driving raceing on the street like quarter mile and when i race a import car they always flash there hazards afterwards its hard to do a burn out with these tires they really grab the ground at take off they are new and does anyone know what they cost around sorry im new to this crap i always babied my mustang but im getting more into reving m rpms and damn a chick thats into mustang you rock in my book babe

if i understand you correctly how much are new tires??? if you have 17 inch rims and you want to use something for racing consider nittos 555 275/35/17 they will give you some sidewall but fit just fine...many other types/brands do some research on your speific application http://www.tirerack.com/
