I was wondering what the biggest wheel and tire combo you could fit on a 2001 mustang gt

Depends what you mean by big? Like big as in wide? I'm running 17x9 up front with 275/40/17 tires and 17x10.5 in back with 315/35/17 tires.

 

i am doing 335 for my next tires. u have to remove the quad shock for those. right now i just fliped my quads over

 

what do you mean you have to remove a quad shock or flip it over??

 

i have 315's now and my left rear tire was hitting my tire when i made right turns, so i fliped the quad shock over to give me more room beside my tire. but if u get a 335 then there wont be enough room, so i will just remove them

 

by big i mean how wide of a tire can i fit in the rear without modifying

 

well do u consider fliping something over a mod. its only 2 bolts. its easier than changing a tire. 315 is the widest u can fit

 

From what I've heard I don't think many people have had to flip the shock. I may be wrong but I think 315/35 will fit without any modifications to anything.

 

Theres this guy in my apartment complex with a 02 v6 running some 20inch Dubs. Dont know what tire size though. He could care less about any kind of performance though.
