Dumb question I know but what does PI mean when referring to engine components?

the PI heads and intake have better flow verses the npi and they also have a different cam profile along with a few other little things that i can't remember right now

It for the 96,97 and 98 4.6 2V engines. It just swapping the heads and intake from a 99 and up onto the older engines. You have a 4V so it's nothing that will help you.

Like was said before, it only refer's to the 2v motors (heads/cams, etc)... The 4v's are not PI or NPI.
