Well, there are tons of mustangs around where I live...9/10 are V6s. 90% of the ones that ARE GTs are of the 98 and older body style. Not a whole lot of PIs. I guess my question is...what is faster stock?

Maybe someone knows some ETs? I have yet to find a reliable site for ET on various makes/models.

i can probably say the 5spd is faster, anyone who can drive a stick would launch better anyday..

a P/I automatic is faster than a non P/I 5 speed...people have gotten lows 14's in a p/i automatic.

And this is how and why Ford was able to bring us the GT and the Cobra. The V6 mustang is the back bone of the stang industry.

99-04 PI automatic - 14.3-14.5 stock, all day, everyday
96-98 non-pi manual - 14.8 with a great driver, 15.0-15.2 with average driver
