Default plenum flow test results!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I cam across this searching the internet. This is for the people with questions of intake plenum selection. Accufab tested 5 plenums with stock, 70mm, and 75mm throttle bodies. I was going to go with the C&L plenum, but once I looked at the flow numbers, Im sold to accufab for the TB/plenum combo. Hope this is imformative.

well aside from the fact that accufab is the best anyways, don't ever rely on manufacturer claims of hp

I figured that too. I just posted to give an idea of how they perform compared to one another.

It wont really make that much of a difference horsepowerwise, but yes accufab is actually better...but they are more expensive

they are still making more HP than any other plenum/ T/B setup.

its the price to pay for more hp.

In a article in Muscle Mustangs and Fast fords the Acu-fab combo made the most hp, but the others, C&L, Dragon, and Trick Flow were within 2 hp. For the money the Trick Flow made the most HP per $.

tests that have been done on blown cars, the accufab blew the rest out of the water. even on a head/cam setup...
