Thanks for the compliments guys., the car drives as good as it looks. However, yeah the shifter is ackward., kinda cumbersome and LONG throws. I think I'll take your advice and get the MGW as my first mod., of course after the window tint. Also the car has the chrome pedals, so I'm thinking of getting the Bullitt shift ball just for better feel and matching looks. Borla stingers will be last, that will take a pretty penny or two., hehe. Also, the Mach 460 cd audio is pretty disappointing. I'm thinking of upgrading the stereo down that road as well. Certainly doesn't sound as good as a 460 watt system should.

Your new car is a clone for my '04 down to the wheels. I don't see many like ours. She's very nice and the mileage is fantastic. I did an ebay CAI and MAC UDPs and they both sucked so bad I had to replace them. My first successful mod was the Steeda Tri-Ax shifter. Whatever company you go with, spend the money and get quality first! It will save you in the long run.

i was looking in to a shifter and i wanted to go with a steeda. but i said f*** it and went with the mgw because everyone swares by them and wow im glad i went with a mgw. i drove my buddies gt with a steeda in it and i love the mgw. infact imgoin to drive my car right now i havent drivin her in 3 days bc of the weather and today is nice so she will go out. nice car by the way

you can get the mgw shifter from www.stangmods.com thats where i got mine. it also comes with a free gasket
